Hello!
Hey guys! So Blanca and I decided to start this blog in hopes of staying in touch with our family and friends, especially those of you who live far away from us. We hope that everyone is doing well and is happy and healthy.
AJ is now four years old and is absolutely loving pre-school. He looks forward to show-and-tell and enjoys helping the teachers. He is obsessed with fire engines, firemen, and fire. We're a little worried about the liking the fire thing and are hoping that he doesn't get too curious with that. He plays on the computer a lot and likes to play his Nick Jr. and Hotwheels online games. He's quite the acrobat and is constantly jumping off of things and running around doing cartwheels, flips, somersaults, etc. He makes friends so easily everywhere he goes and remembers everyone's name the next time he sees them.

Maddie is three years old, but she's about the same size as her older brother because AJ has his mom's genes when it comes to size and Maddie has mine. She's also in pre-school and really loves it too. Blanca loves it too, because it gives her a short break each day when the kids are in pre-school. Maddie is addicted to Scooby Doo and also loves to play computer games with her brother. Lately she's been cracking us up with all of the adult things she says (the G rated ones). She is also excited about graduating to primary from the nursery this year. She's also quite the independent spirit and is not afraid to walk (or run) away from Mom and Dad while in a public place, which she frequently tries to do.

Blanca is staying super busy taking care of the kids, Grandma, while doing everything else. She's freaking amazing! Plus, she puts up with me and we all know that's not very easy. She's been very active with her church callings and has recently spent time as a counselor and president of the young women in the ward. She even got to meet President Monson a couple of weeks ago and actually got to spend a good amount of time chatting with him. She loves helping others and is the most charitable person I know. She's always thinking of ways she can help someone in a certain situation of need and follows through on helping them. She is addicted to anything (movies, tv shows, books, news, etc.) that related to criminal investigation and prosecution. I think she's seen every episode of Law and Order about three times.
I'm in my last semester of my Bachelor's degree at Westminster College. I can't wait to graduate and pretend like I have a social life again. I have a couple of classes with Matt this semester, which makes it a little easier, but I think I distract him instead of helping him because we still think we're in high school and mess around in class. I'm working right now for a company called Central Refrigerated Services, Inc. as an accountant. It's a trucking company that specializes in temperature controlled freight. I like it a lot and am still adjusting to the big learning curve involved with learning the accounting techniques. I'm now officially addicted to Guitar Hero III and will be entering rehab next week. I also love spending time with the fam and throwing the kids around until one of them gets hurt and Blanca makes me stop.
Well, we really hope everything is well with everyone and want you all to know you're in our prayers and thoughts. Keep in touch and we'll try and do the same!
